Getting to Know Mike
After having lived abroad and in many parts of the United States, I settled 14 years ago on a
small farm in the hills of Lyndeborough, and now call New Hampshire home. Although I didn't
have the priviledge of growing up here, I chose this state as the ideal place to settle, because
of the people, the way of life and the natural environment.

I have 250 acres of woods in Lyndeborough, and a house that I built myself (with some
strategic help from local contractors, including Phil Brooks and Dick Howe) It's a Swiss Chalet
style, off-grid and powered by solar panels, with a magnificent view of Temple Mountain and
the Monadnocks. So far, I'm just growing rocks and trees, but I hope to reclaim 10-15 acres of
pasture soon.
